How to Care for your Basket

Claudia uses Weaver's Stain on most baskets. Once a year take your baskets outside and squirt them with a fine spray with the garden hose or mist them with a spray bottle to remove dirt and dust. Allow them to thoroughly air dry away from direct sunlight. Using small scissors trim off the little hairy ends that appear from normal wear and tear. Then coat the baskets very lightly with baby oil using a soft bristle brush. The baby oil will help to preserve the natural materials while enhancing the color, giving each basket a fresh new look.
